Best Birthday?

wow.. it’s been more than 10 years since I had a best birthday..
For usual concept, having a big birthday party seems to be considered as the best birthday so that I picked this.

Back when I was in middle school, my so-called closest friends threw large birthday party for me. They gifted me what I like the most at the time, cooked dishes that I like the most, did fireworks and took pictures all together. It was one of my cherish childhood memories.

Tbh, I don’t know why they prepare it with all sincerity.. it still questionable but grateful. I was very thankful but unfortunately it was a little burdensome. Maybe.. In school days, a friendship between peers is so important. Also, I threw a big birthday party for friedns of mind as well. The reason why it’s questionable is because that I don’t contact them anymore.

Life is changing very quick. In the process of it, people, relationships, tastes, personality, and many things that make up me change. It’s unavoidable that let ppl around me leave me. Anyway, life is still going on. So, I’d discovered we should just live this life as it flows, enjoying the moment and caring ppl around me is all.

What did you do today? How was your day today?

I got a lash lift (eyelash perming) today, which gives eyelashes a permanent curled for about a month. It's similar process as a conventional hair perm process in that it applies chemical solutions on hair. You can keep your eyelashes in the same condition with the appearance of wearing mascara. So, you don't need to use an eyelash curler every morning.

 

How long takes to get ready in the morning?

It takes just 15 minutes to leave the house after taking a shower, drying my hair, getting dressed up. I'm very fast compared to other normal people. 

 

Do you think Korean have strict beauty standards?

I think korean cares beauty more comparing to other countries. Not only plastic surgery, but non-surgical cosmetic treatment such as botox, laser hair removal, non-surgical nose job, lip filer is very common here. 

 

What do you think of having surgery? What are your opinions on plastic surgery?

It's kind of common that getting eyes, nose job as a high school graduation gift from parents. A third of our class had plastic surgery done on high school graduation day. They showed up at school with their face a bit swollen. Isn't it interesting, right?
